-THEM-
Character name: Princess Anna of Arendelle, or Anna
Series: Disney's Frozen
Character history: History
Character personality: Anna can basically be sumed up in a handful of words: energetic, outgoing, naive, awkward and clumsy. In essence she is the complete opposite of her sister.
She has a tendency to speak before she thinks causing her actions to be impulsive and brash, but there's never a hint of malice or meanness to them. She's easily excited and holds a lot of innocence to her. Being raised in a castle with her sister continuing to ignore her (she never knew the reason growing up) she craves human interaction. While her parents and the servants were around, she wanted to play with her sister and others. She never had the chance to so she had to create her own games and make up her own friends--she started talking to the pictures on the walls, giving them names and stories. In this instance this shows how creative she can be.
Anna is also a pure romantic. When it was time for Elsa's coronation she couldn't wait to meet all the people coming. She then began to think maybe she would meet the one. The one person she was always meant to be with and spoke of how they would me. She meets Hans, instantly falls for him and wants to marry him right then and there. To her, there's no reason in putting something as important as marriage off, even though she didn't know him. She believes that she can know all she needs to know within a day of meeting someone. Her thinking is very naive and innocent in this case. Though naive she can be that doesn't mean she is by far weak. She isn't afraid to defend herself from wolves. Be brave in telling a huge giant snowman named Marshmallow how rude he was and readying to throw a snowball at him. And of course, punching Hans in the face with enough strength to knock him off the boat and create a big splash.
Romance aside, the relationship she values the most is her sister's. Elsa and her were friends when they were kids, as close as two sisters could get. They were each other's best friends and playmates. When Elsa pulled away, Anna tried to get her sister to play with her. She even knocked on Elsa's door nearly every day, asking her if she wanted to build a snowman. This tradition continued well on, even after their parents passed away. Elsa is all Anna has left and she doesn't want to lose her. Which is why she goes off in search of her sibling with determination to bring Elsa home.
Come heck or high water Elsa was going to come home.
She can be a stubborn thing when it comes to something she has her mind set on from trying to get Elsa to come out and play, to bribing Kristoff to head up the mountain side with her and finding a way to save Elsa.
Overall Anna is a kooky, goofy, sweet Princess with a huge heart. She loves Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven to death and would do anything for them.

Journal entry sample: [The video turns on with shaky, unsteady hands. The viewer is looking at the device with confusion, some excitement and puzzlement.] So I can talk to people with this tiny box. How can that be? Is it magic? Certainly not like Elsa's...
Oh come, Elsa? Olaf? Kristoff? Sven? Where are you--!!
[She keeps fiddling with it until the feed cuts of abruptly, switching to audio.]
Oh! How did I do that? Maybe this button--!! [The feed then goes silent but the video comes back on with Anna looking more puzzled than ever before toying with it again.]
Ah-ha! Okay, I think I got it. Ahem.. [Clears her throat and gives her best smile that still comes off as a bit awkward. Okay, time to look regal, poised...possibly sophisticated.]
Hello people of New Moore. My name is Anna, Princess of Arendelle and...
What the physicians said, they're not true right? I've lived and grown up in Arendelle---mostly in the castle, but it's still a beautiful country THAT DOES EXIST! [Because if she hears that it doesn't one more time she...she will throw a snowball or paper ball at someone.]
If I could speak to the person in charge of this place, it would be greatly appreciated. If not then I'll find my own way off this place!
I mean, it shouldn't be that hard to make a boat, right? [Ever the optimist, she is.]
Log/prose based sample:
Anna was standing outside the hospital with her hand curled into a fist and ready to pound on the door for the umpteenth time. Really, why were people being so mean? She only wanted a thousand questions answered; like how she managed to New Moore, why weren't Elsa and the others around and more importantly how she could get home. The doctors and nurses continued to insist that she was fictional. Thus, she was ignored until she was thrown out. Now she was outside and waiting outside like a stubborn fool.
"Come ON! Just let me in! I need my answers, please!" she called until she faintly heard someone tell her to go away from the other side. Anna huffed, preparing to leave her spot only to turn right back and kick the door with the toe of her foot. She hissed from the impact and limped away.
"It's not nice to kick people out, even if I MIGHT be fictional," the strawberry blonde huffed, continuing to walk away until her little rectangular box thing fell out of her pocket. Huh...if the residents of the island wouldn't give her answers...maybe someone else could.
